For those who want to know (i assume you do if you are reading this) i am going to descibe more of my life here in Yarlet (my halls).
There are 17 lads sharing a massive kitchen, and any preconceptions abt food stealing and selfish acts are totally unfounded. All our plates/bowls/cutlery etc are communal, grab whats dry so to speak. Everyone clears up after themselves, people offer food around, wether they are generous by nature or just overestimated how many noodles yoy get is an entirely different matter.
To put it simple, everyone is a mate, and nothing bad has happened
Yet
I have also been locked out my room for the first time, got back from the student union at 4 am, went in my room for some unmemorable reason, and before you know it, i was in the kitchen minus my keys.
Luckily i managed to sleep in someone elses room, dont think i would have like to sleep in the corridor just yet.
On wednesday evening i had the first of many rugby 'socials', where basically everyone picks on the freshers. The guys are safe tho, the few freashers who did keel over were well looked after.
Needless to say, the last few nights have been fun, but heavy on the liver and wallet.
I must go, need to nap and go to training.
Im suddenly so busy!

Looks like you're living the student life already lol. It sounds stupid but I know what you mean about getting locked out, its wierd having to take keys everywhere with you. Told you you'd make friends too; and before you even start at RPG club... (btw, four clubs and you expect not to be busy? sheesh...)
Alcohol does take it out on your wallet like I said earlier, jus need to rein in a bit and not kick your liver every night. Worked out how much I should be spending a week and treated myself to some new manga as a moving in pressie since my rents were nice enough to pay for my first foodshop. Anywho, cybergrn? A wild slowpoke appears.
Take care
ilks
